Camden grows almost none of its own food — so its nutrition rests on a global web of breadbaskets, fertiliser producers and shipping chokepoints. This map reads that web inward: each node is a system the UK's calories, protein or fresh produce depend on, and each arrow is the pathway by which its disruption reaches Camden's shelves. Orange nodes are the supply sources the UK imports from directly; red nodes are the input and chokepoint systems whose disruption lands on that supply anyway. How to read this map. Nodes are keystone not by size but by the reach of their disruption into UK — and therefore Camden's — nutrition. Supply sources (orange) are systems the UK imports calories, protein or produce from directly; input & chokepoint systems (red) sit elsewhere but transmit inward — a fertiliser-export halt raises the cost of every grain; a chokepoint blockade reroutes and reprices whole cargo classes; an El Niño stresses several breadbaskets in one season. Pathways show the dominant channel each disruption travels toward the UK core; the protectionism feedback edge (dashed) is the loop by which a price spike triggers export bans that thin the market and raise the next spike.
