# About the Bioregional Finance Wiki

The Bioregional Finance Wiki is a shared knowledge base on bioregional finance. It covers
three things:

- how money reaches bioregions
- the instruments and institutions that carry that money
- what has worked, and what has not

Dark Matter Labs started it. People from Dark Matter Labs and from partner organisations
write in it.

## How it is made

People choose the sources: reports, papers, case studies and data. An AI model reads each
source, writes a summary page, and links it to the other pages it touches. A person other
than the author reviews every change before it is saved.

Each page states two things about itself:

- **confidence**: how well its sources support it
- **validation**: who has stood behind it

`validation: machine` means an AI wrote the page and no person has confirmed it yet. Treat
such a page as a starting point, not a settled view. This page is one of them.

## What it is not

- **Not advice.** Nothing here is financial, investment or legal advice.
- **Not complete.** The wiki is new. It holds only what its contributors have added so far.
- **Not neutral.** People with a point of view choose the sources. Each page names its
sources so readers can judge them.

## How to contribute

If you have a correction or a source to add, email Leon at leon@darkmatterlabs.org.

The wiki is selective on purpose. It looks for approaches that change how finance works,
not only ones that improve it. Not every suggestion is added.
